Congratulations on your 2022 Ocean Reef Community Foundation Grant!
Ocean Reef Community Foundation has approved funding for your organization’s 2022 Grant Application as detailed in the list below.
So, What’s Next?
You will receive a link to your Grant Agreement with more detail about the specifics of your grant at the same email address as your award notification within three weeks. After the agreement is executed, a check will be processed (*provided your award is not specified as MATCH REQUIRED, in which case see the note at the bottom of this message).
We are thrilled to announce that we will hold our Grants Presentation Celebration again this year for the first time in two years and ask you to SAVE THE DATE for Friday, April 29, 2022, to stop by the event at Ocean Reef between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Details will follow by email. If you are unable to attend your check will be mailed.
Please note: If your organization has been awarded a match grant or a partial grant that did not cover your full request, we will include your project in a “Co-Investment Opportunities” mailing to our Donor Advised Funds which may result in additional funding.
REPORTING & COMMUNICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Please be aware that you will receive follow up assignments from our system requesting Mid-Project Update and photos for our newsletter in the fall and a Grant Recipient Report due by March 1st, 2023. Mark your calendar and review the report form when assigned so that you can be mindful in collecting the required information over the course of your grant project. We ask recipients to share news of awards and resulting projects and to collect samples of efforts to do so. You will be asked to verify you have read the Communications Guidelines as part of your Grant Agreement. Submitting the Grant Recipient Report (complete with at least one sample, such as an image of a social media announcement) is a requirement to be considered for future funding.
* If your award is listed as “MATCH REQUIRED,” please proceed straight away with leveraging our grant opportunity to raise the additional funds needed to implement your project. Match grants are intended to provide an opportunity to reach out to potential donors and grow support for your organization. Your grant will not be distributed until you have provided documentation that you have raised the required amount and are otherwise fully prepared to implement the project as proposed upon receipt of your grant.
