Whenever identifying the Ocean Reef Community Foundation, please DO NOT shorten to “Ocean Reef” without the words “Community Foundation” or use the word “Club” (as in Ocean Reef Club, a distinct and separate entity). Appropriate abbreviations (acceptable after using the full name at least once) include “ORCF” or “the Foundation.”

The Ocean Reef Community Foundation facilitates philanthropy by North Key Largo, Florida’s Ocean Reef Club community. ORCF’s annual grants program has contributed more than $18.3 million to nonprofit organizations in neighboring areas of Monroe and Southern Miami-Dade Counties where the thousands employed in the private-club community live. In recent years, the Foundation has distributed an additional $6+ million from emergency relief and capital project funds in those areas. ORCF’s numerous charitable funds have collectively granted more than $145 million since it was established in 1994.
