Benvenuti in Italia! The six of you will be treated to six nights in a Tuscan villa (3 bedrooms/3 baths) and then luxuriate for two nights in a five-star hotel in Lucca (3 double rooms; breakfasts included), all while partaking of private transportation and guides for all the tours and dinners throughout your trip, and for your transfer from your villa in the country to your hotel in the city by way of Pisa, where you’ll have a guided visit of its Leaning Tower (airport transfers not included). Your stay in your beautiful villa near Cortona (which boasts its own private swimming pool), will include daily chef-prepared breakfasts, and four chef-prepared dinners, as well as another dinner that follows an on-location cooking class “right at home.” But, too, you will get out and about, thanks to a daily driver at your disposal for up to 8 hours/200 km/day to go sightseeing in the region, one full day’s touring to visit two wineries (including lunch), and a fine dining experience (a four-course tasting menu paired with four different wines) at Cortona’s own renowned al Tocco restaurant.
During your two-night stay in Lucca (birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini, of Madama Butterfly fame), prepare for a lovely full day on the water enjoying a tour of the Cinque Terre beginning from the harbor in La Spezia, and an evening taking in a tasting menu experience at the 1 Michelin star Butterfly, just outside Lucca in Marlia and housed in a charming 19th‑century farmhouse surrounded by a magnificent garden that delights in every season.
