There is something new on the Islander menu. The golf courses look stunning. The landscape is so green and full. Orchids are starting to bloom, and something is different in the Fishing Village. How much fun is it to return to Ocean Reef for the season and see everything new and fresh!? Even if you live here full time you get this feeling, this reminder, every time you come back from a travel experience.

And when you are settled in and remember how much you love fishing here, and boating here, and playing tennis and golf and seeing all your friends at cards and the dog park and, oh, yes… dining. Ocean Reef is back in full swing and that means that All Charities Weekend is on the horizon.

Our Chairs for the weekend, Meg and Pat Shields, have sourced an amazing array of Live Auction items while our Silent Auction Chairs, Patty and Tom Davidson, have been working to round out the Silent Auction with some exciting new features and continue with more of everyone’s favorites. Meanwhile we have three new Preferred Partners who look forward to adding even more value to our Member offerings and new auction options: Silversea Cruises, with an array of unforgettable luxury experiences, has joined as our new cruise partner; Butterfield & Robinson offers more adventurous and active travel and will celebrate their 60th year in the luxury travel space this year and will be our partner for bicycle touring in exotic locations; and Waterfall Resort and Steamboat Bay Fishing Club together will offer elite luxury sport fishing experiences in Alaska. And Member favorite, returning again but this time in an inaugural appearance as Preferred Partner, Karen Crouse and Mount Veeder Magic Vineyards, will bring some new and exciting twists for the Auction this year.

Of course they join our returning Preferred Partners. 

We are almost ready, but we can always use your help. Here is what you can do:

  1. Mark your calendar for the All Charities dates – February 20-22, 2026.
  2. Consider donating an interesting case or bottle of wine, or access to something special, or an unforgettable travel opportunity.
  3. Our Trustees are the foundation of our All Charities effort, and an additional category of Trustee is being introduced this year. That has in turn created a very limited space for a few new Trustees. Please let us know if you would like to learn more…
