Here we go again! We are ready for another season of live entertainment, lectures, and fun for the whole family.

Our first live performance will be during the holiday week with The New Shanghai Circus. Through the artists’ dazzling performances of breathtaking body juggling acrobatics, colorful dancing contortionist, hilarious comedy and mystifying magic – all ages will be amazed.

Kicking off our season will be multi-mega-million-selling rock band STYX, performing outdoors on the grounds of the Cultural Center. Just a few days later, Top of the World, the world’s premier tribute to The Carpenters fronted by singer Debbie Taylor performing Carpenters greatest hits. Returning again to the Cultural Center, Human Nature brings to life the iconic songs of Motown. Anne-Marie McDermott as Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Festival, is ready to share this seasons chamber music repertoire. Vince Gill and Amy Grant will be performing a one-time only special Ocean Reef performance, outdoors on the grounds of the Cultural Center.

February begins with American Idols favorites Ruben Studdard & Clay Aiken. Get ready for yet another evening of music that promises to be unforgettable featuring David Foster, Chris Botti and Katharine McPhee. This season, Zoetic Stage will be performing Side by Side by Sondheim. This musical celebrates the incomparable genius of Broadway’s most prolific and celebrated lyricist/composer.  John Fogerty, as solo artist and as leader of Creedence Clearwater Revival, will be performing outdoors at the Cultural Center. Tommy James and the Shondells will be performing ‘60s favorites, Hanky Panky, Crimson & Clover and other favorites. One of the Centers favorites is our Cabaret Dinner Theater featuring Lauren Jelencovich.

Don Felder, formally of The Eagles, will be in our theater in March. He is a true rock and roll guitar hero. The Mavericks, an eclectic rock and country band, will get us up and dancing. Ukraine’s foremost symphony orchestra, Kyiv Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra with lyric soprano, Sarah Stead, will come to the Cultural Center with a powerful program. Finishing off our live performances, SPACE ODDITY featuring David Brightons, transports audiences on a musical journey through the career of David Bowie.

This year the Campus at the Cultural Center will fulfill our goal to support and sustain the life-long love of learning. Dining with the Presidents offers an interesting talk about our Presidents followed by a delicious optional dinner. The Speaker Series presents a variety of complimentary thought-provoking subjects. New this year, Richmond Forum Virtual Series presents five of the biggest and most influential names in the world. The One Day University Virtual Series collaborates with some of the country’s most popular professors to develop entertaining versions of their finest lectures.
